Key Points:
BlackBull Markets has officially partnered with Auckland FC, the New Zealand soccer club that captured the A-League Premiership in its inaugural season.
Anish Lal, Chief Business Development Officer at BlackBull Markets, announced the partnership via social media. Although the company has not issued a formal press release, Auckland FC’s website already lists BlackBull Markets among its “premium partners.”
Auckland FC made history last season by winning the A-League Premiership in its first year of competition, becoming the first debut club to secure Australia’s top football division title. The team also boasts the league’s highest average attendance, with more than 18,000 fans per match in the 2024 season.
For BlackBull Markets, headquartered in Auckland, the sponsorship represents a strategic move to increase brand visibility in New Zealand’s largest city, home to nearly 2 million residents.
In tandem with the sponsorship, BlackBull Markets announced enhancements to its Prime Account offering. The broker has removed spreads on major currency pairs for Prime clients, partnering with liquidity providers such as LMAX to secure tighter pricing.
“We’ve made our biggest FX spreads improvement ever – exclusively for Prime Accounts,” the company said in its September 18 statement.
The updated conditions include spread reductions of 48% to 71% on major currency pairs, with USDCAD seeing the largest drop at 71%, followed by AUDUSD at 59% and EURUSD at 53%. During most trading hours, Prime clients now enjoy zero spreads on popular pairs including EURUSD, GBPUSD, and AUDUSD.
Additionally, BlackBull Markets has eliminated the minimum funding requirement for Prime Accounts, lowering it from $2,000 to $0, making the broker’s premium trading conditions more accessible to a broader range of traders.
