eToro launches a phased migration to its redesigned trading app from October 4 as clients automatically move to the new platform.

Key Points:

  • eToro automatically migrates existing clients to its redesigned trading app from October 4, with accounts, credentials, and portfolios fully retained.
  • The new app centres on Tori, eToro’s AI assistant, alongside advanced charts, revised portfolio displays, and proactive portfolio-linked insights.

eToro will begin moving existing clients to its redesigned trading application on October 4, kicking off a phased migration that the broker says will happen automatically for all users over time.

Users will retain their existing accounts, login credentials, and portfolios throughout the process, with no requirement to transfer positions or create a new profile. eToro has confirmed the upgrade will roll out in stages, though it has not disclosed which clients or jurisdictions will move first and has not published a completion date for the full migration.

Clients who want to access the redesigned interface before their scheduled migration can download a separate application currently labelled eToro AI from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The early-access app sits alongside the existing eToro application rather than replacing it immediately.

eToro has asked clients not to delete their current app while both versions remain available. Once the broker upgrades a client’s existing application, the temporary eToro AI app will be retired, and the user will continue trading through the updated version of the main eToro application going forward.

The redesigned application introduces revised portfolio displays, more detailed asset pages, advanced charting tools, and different viewing modes for portfolios and watchlists. eToro also says the rebuilt app operates faster than the current version, though it has not published an independent performance comparison to support that claim.

Tori, eToro’s AI assistant, sits at the centre of the new interface. Beyond answering user questions, Tori is designed to proactively surface information connected to assets held in a portfolio or added to a watchlist, integrating AI-supported research directly into the trading experience.

The October rollout represents the broader deployment of a product eToro first presented in July, rather than the introduction of a new brokerage service or separate trading account. At that time, the company described the application as bringing together its trading and investment functions with AI-supported research and portfolio data in a single interface.

Several other products announced alongside the July unveiling, including agent-managed portfolios, sub-accounts, and the eToro Edge desktop platform, sit outside the current mobile migration and may follow different availability timelines. The rollout also builds on the April relaunch of Tori, when eToro added persistent conversational memory and market sentiment data sourced from X through Grok. Availability of individual features may differ by jurisdiction.
