Electronic trading giant Interactive Brokers (IBKR) continues to strengthen its position as a leading brokerage by expanding the capabilities of its trading solutions. The company has announced a series of upgrades to the IBKR Desktop platform, aimed particularly at empowering options traders.

The latest upgrade brings an enhanced Strategy Builder to IBKR Desktop, redesigned to be more intuitive and user-friendly for those trading options. Furthermore, traders can access the new Strategy Builder by adding an option to the Quote page and selecting the Strategy Builder toggle in the bottom left corner of the Options Chain, or by navigating to Layouts > Options Trading Layout and enabling the Strategy Builder from there.

Additionally, IBKR Desktop now features ForecastTrader Tiles and Tabs, offering traders a streamlined way to view and act on market forecasts. The ForecastTrader tab is accessible via the Quote panel under the Forecast Contracts tab, while ForecastTrader tiles appear on the right-hand side of the page under any quote screen for quick access.

These enhancements build on recent improvements to the platform, which include the addition of a Level II Market Depth Widget for greater market transparency and an Exit Strategy tool to help traders manage positions more effectively.
