Robinhood launches AI-powered Digests in the UK, giving investors plain-English insights on stock movements for free.

Key points:

  • Digests by Robinhood Cortex now available to all UK customers, offering AI-generated stock movement summaries.
  • The feature is free at launch and builds on Robinhood’s U.S. rollout earlier this year.

Robinhood has announced the launch of Digests by Robinhood Cortex for all customers in the United Kingdom. The feature, now live across the platform, is the first to be powered by Robinhood Cortex, the company’s new AI-driven investing assistant.

Digests uses generative AI to analyse a wide range of inputs, including breaking news, analyst reports, technical indicators, and Robinhood’s proprietary data, to summarise in plain language why a stock may be moving. The Robinhood app displays the summaries directly on the stock detail page and offers them free of charge to UK customers at launch.

Robinhood first introduced the feature at its Lost City of Gold event in San Francisco earlier this year. The company began rolling it out to U.S. customers during the summer, and hundreds of thousands of investors have already adopted it.

“Digests by Robinhood Cortex is our first AI insight tool, built directly into our app,” said Jordan Sinclair, President at Robinhood UK. “We believe our UK customers, from first-time investors to seasoned traders, will appreciate the timely, accessible summaries that highlight what may be moving a stock. We will keep introducing AI tools that prioritise customer education and help our investors navigate the market with confidence.”

Robinhood has positioned Digests as suitable for investors at all levels of experience. The tool is also designed to act as an information-gathering layer, distilling market activity into clear explanations. By providing insight into why a stock is moving, the company says the feature can help customers form a trading thesis or validate market signals before making an investment decision.

At launch, Digests will cover many of the most commonly traded stocks on Robinhood. The company has not disclosed specific expansion plans but has indicated it will continue developing AI tools to support customer education and decision-making.

The rollout marks Robinhood’s latest push to expand its UK offering and bring AI-powered investing features to a broader customer base.
